Showcasing Careers That Shape the Future
Held on April 8-9, 2025, High Point Industry Day connected students with local employers, educators, and organizations dedicated to preparing the next generation of professionals. The event highlighted career opportunities across advanced manufacturing, aviation, technology, healthcare, engineering, logistics, and more.
Fly Point Partners Supporting Workforce Development
Fly Point Partners staff joined Stay Plugged In & The Be Elite Foundation team members in supporting the event by introducing students to careers in drone technology and aerial entertainment. Team members engaged with attendees, demonstrated industry applications for drones, and discussed the technical, creative, and entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed in the rapidly growing aviation sector.
“Having the opportunity to bring students out of their normal routine from the environment at their school to a fun environment such as this, our hope is that they’re being able to retain these memories & experiences, and it really sticks” said Raven Jefferson, Executive Director of High Point Schools Parntership.
Stronger together
Working alongside Stay Plugged In & Be Elite Foundation, Fly Point Partners helped create meaningful connections between education and industry. Events like Guilford County School’s Aviation Day reinforce the importance of giving students direct access to professionals, helping them better understand the pathways available after graduation.
